There was nothing she'd seen in Luke's mind that had been unfamiliar or off-putting; if anything, it had been so similar to her own mindset that she didn't know whether to feel relieved or sorry for him. She knew very well what it was like to be alone. The only difference between them was that, after finding BB-8 and Finn, she also knew what it was like not to be alone anymore. It felt good. Safe. Warm. Better than anything else she could remember feeling.
And she wanted Luke to feel the same way.
